What we collect
When you create an account or run an interview session we collect: your email address, name, CV/résumé content you upload, audio recordings and transcripts of interview sessions, and usage data (pages visited, features used). We do not store raw audio beyond the session unless you explicitly save it.
How we use it
Your data is used to: personalise questions to your CV, generate your evaluation report, track your progress over time, and send post-session evaluation emails. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Third-party services
We use Google Cloud (infrastructure), Gemini API (AI evaluation), Supabase (database), and Razorpay/Stripe (payments). Each is bound by its own data-processing agreement with us.
Data retention
Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account. Session transcripts are retained for 12 months and then anonymised. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@zushroom.com.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. For Indian users, this is consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for session authentication and optional analytics cookies (Posthog) to improve the product. You can opt out of analytics in your account settings.
